Utah County is a great place for family fun, with events across the valley for all ages.
Here are five fun events that are perfect for the whole family this week:
Celebrate the start of fall
Fall officially starts Saturday — the perfect time to celebrate the opening of Rowley’s Red Barn Back Forty. You can take a tractor-pulled ride, play in the 10-acre corn maze or play in the fall play area. The play area includes pedal tractor racing, giant slides, apple cannons, a sand box, a hay pyramid, jumping pillows and zip lines.
You can also search for your perfect pumpkin in the 6-acre pumpkin patch.
When: 3:30 to 8:45 p.m., Mondays through Fridays; 10:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m., Saturdays; Saturday through Oct. 30
Where: Rowley’s Red Barn; 901 S. 300 West, Santaquin
Cost: All-day pass is $9 per person, family pass for family of five is $40.
Have a harvest

The market will include goods from local artists and craftsmen, live music, treats and activities for those of all ages.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday
Where: Sundance Mountain Resort; 8841 N. Alpine Loop Road, Sundance
Catch some football

When: 4 p.m., Saturday

Head to a fall boutique

Listen to a story
The Timpanogos Storytelling Festival may be over until next year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your fill of stories. The Provo City Library at Academy Square will host a Storytelling Festival favorite, Tim Lowry, for a storytelling night. The whole family can enjoy an evening of fantastical stories. You can head online to register for the event.
