5 ways to have fun with your family in Utah County this week

Utah County is a great place for family fun, with events across the valley for all ages.
Here are five fun events that are perfect for the whole family this week:
Enjoy events at the Spanish Fork Library
Though libraries across Utah County regularly host fun events for community members of all ages, this week especially is a great one to check out events at the Spanish Fork Library. You can celebrate Children’s Book Week starting at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, with Baby Time, followed by a Princess Party at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, a DogMan Party at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, a Dinosaur Party at 11 a.m., Friday, and a “May the Fourth Be With You” Party at 1 p.m., Saturday.
When: Tuesday-Saturday at varying times
Where: Spanish Fork Library, 49 S. Main St. in Spanish Fork
Head to a puppet show
Though any kind of entertainment can be fun and rewarding, there’s just something special about a puppet show, so with that in mind, grab the family and head to the UVU Puppet Players’ “Laugh Till You Stop” show, coming to the Orem Public Library this week.
When: 6-7 p.m. Wednesday
Where: Storytelling Wing of the Orem Public Library, 58 N. State St., Orem
Visit the Tiny Art Exchange
Though you might have missed them due to size, tiny art exhibits have been popping up all over Provo in recent months, and the latest incarnation of the fun is happening Friday with a Tiny Art Exchange Opening Celebration. Trade tiny art, enjoy tiny Sodalicious cookies and make new art at this fun event.
When: 6-8 p.m. Friday

Celebrate Healthy Families Day
The Utah County Health Department along with Safe Kids Utah County and Utah County WIC are hosting Healthy Families Day this Saturday, “showcasing south county resources” for families and youth. There will be a K9 unit, WIC sign-up, scooter rodeo, scavenger hunt and more at the event with interactive safety games for kids.
When: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday
Where: The Multi-Service Facility, 285 N. 1250 East in Payson
Party at Orem’s Centennial Birthday Party
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Orem, and the whole area is invited to celebrate with a birthday party this weekend. The event will include games, prizes, food, live music and fireworks with activities for the whole family, not to mention free cupcakes.
When: 5-9 p.m. Saturday with games from 5-7:30 p.m., stage performances from 5:30-7 p.m., live music from 7:30-9 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m.
