Golf lovers in Utah Valley always look forward to mid-August because that’s when top talent gathers at Riverside Country Club for the annual Utah Open. This year marks a special milestone for the event. The Utah PGA website says: “As the Utah Open celebrates 100 years of championship golf, it remains one of the longest-running and most prestigious golf tournaments in the United States. It’s a beautiful match when you see an industry come together to support charity work, helping individuals and families in need. Not only will visitors get to see some amazing vehicles but they will also be supporting the National Kidney Foundation of Utah and Idaho. The event website says: “It is our overall goal to promote a positive image of the trucking industry to the public while promoting and providing funds for the Truck Show Kidney Kamp. Every year, our donations enable more than 200 children who have kidney failure, are on dialysis, or are awaiting a transplant to attend a wonderful camping experience in the Utah mountains.”
