The full Utah Valley calendar of events is on L4, but here are three local events you should check out this week:
1. 2026 Springville Art City Days
Various locations, Springville, June 6-13, 7 a.m.-midnight
Summer festival season kicks off with a number of events, including city celebrations in Springville, Vineyard and Cedar Hills. Art City Days features a week of activities and performances throughout Springville, including classics like the hot air balloon fest and the duck tape regatta. The city website says: “Art City Days is Springville’s annual summer celebration. It starts on the first Saturday of each June and runs through the first full week of June. It’s known for its great carnivals, parades, balloon festival, entertainment, foods, and numerous activities for the whole family. Advanced entry or registration is required to participate in some events. Come celebrate with us!”

2. 2026 Utah Lake Festival
Utah Lake State Park, Provo, May 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Everyone in Utah Valley is impacted in some way by Utah Lake, whether it is creating beautiful views, being used for recreation or having to be navigated around. Celebrate the lake with the annual festival on May 30. The state park website says: “The Utah Lake Festival is a great opportunity for the public to learn about what is being done to improve the lake, promote recreational activities, and allow the attendees to enjoy a beautiful Saturday at one of Utah’s greatest natural resources. This year, we are partnering with the Provo Farmers Market, who will have their first market of the summer season at the festival.”

3. Baby Animal Festival
Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, May 30, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
May might be drawing to a close but there is still time to enjoy seeing the delightful baby animals at Thanksgiving Point. The website says: “Celebrate spring with Baby Animal Festival and meet new baby lambs, goat kids, piglets, chicks, and more. We will be celebrating all month long with baby animal related programs, scavenger hunts, yard games, and plenty of hands-on discovery. Jump on bounce houses of all sizes and enjoy exclusive festival treats like Baby Chick Cupcakes, Blue Moo ice cream, and more!”
