Cory J Smith passed away at 67 years old on March 24, 2020 in Orem, Utah. He was born on August 19, 1952 in San Francisco, California to Jack Russell Smith and Ruby May Barter. Ruby later married Neil Pace, who was a big part of Cory’s life and raised him like his own son.

Jon C. Beck, our loving father and grandfather, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 in Spanish Fork, Utah. Jon was born May 15, 1933 in Spanish Fork to Francis Eugene and Vernecia Markham Beck. He is a graduate of Spanish Fork High School.

At age 88, our beloved father passed away on March 23 in his home in Provo, surrounded by all three of his children, after a long battle with cancer. Many knew DeVerl as the first Electrical Engineering Professor hired by BYU in 1964, where he worked until retirement in 1995. Some will know him as the Y-Mountain Man due to his 300+ consecutive monthly hikes to the top of Y Mountain; a goal that took him 25 years to complete!

Our beloved mother and sister Bonnie left this world peacefully on Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2020, lovingly surrounded by family. On July 24, 1934 she was born to Burley and Verda Ames of Moroni, Utah. Bonnie grew up in Springville, UT and attended Springville High, where she was affectionately known as “Bonnie Blue Eyes.”

Dorothy Jean Nuttall Kennedy passed away on March 20, 2020 with her beloved husband of 66 years and family by her side. She died from multiple myeloma at the age of 83. Dorothy was born on September 4, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Jesse Greer Nuttall and Ora Lee Phillips Nuttall. Raised in Provo, Utah, Dorothy grew up on a farm with four brothers and two sisters.

Mark Otis Hamilton, most beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully, on Monday, March 23, 2020. He was 62 years old. He was born in Provo, Utah on May 16, 1957 and was a most loved son of Otis and Belva Hamilton.

In the early morning hours of Thursday March 19, 2020 Heavenly Father and a host of others welcomed home an angel, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, JoAnn Abel. JoAnn was born on September 30, 1934 in Provo, Utah. She spent her entire 85 years in Provo, with only a short hiatus in Fallon, Nevada where she worked as a phone operator at the Naval Air Station in her early twenties.

Michael Drew McGhie, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on March 13, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Louise passed away in her daughter’s home in Spring, TX after a stubborn fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born to Darro Berc and Maacah Francom Taufer in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 14, 1946. She gave of herself freely in the service of the Lord and others, working as a nurse for 36 years, delighting in giving gifts, and apologizing that she couldn’t give more.

Ella Marie (Ellaree) Christensen Howard passed away peacefully Wed, March 11, 2020 at the age of 95 at home in Lindon UT. She lived a long and happy and rewarding life.

On Thursday March 19, 2020 our wonderful Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is joyfully reunited with his wife Nancy, son Jr. and his Great grandson Raxtyn along with his parents and brothers.

Richard Christensen, 66, of Spanish Fork, Utah passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on April 13, 1953 in Spanish Fork to Keith J. and Nida Earley Christensen. He attended Spanish Fork Schools, graduating from Spanish Fork High School. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years.

Joseph T Hauzen passed away March 18, 2020 after a prolonged illness. He was born August 4, 1929 in Salt Lake City, UT to Toffee and Sarah (Anton) Hauzen.
