Three men arrested for Provo burglary
PROVO — Three men were arrested for burglary early Sunday morning after a caller abandoned a 911 call.
At about 2 a.m. Sunday, an officer was dispatched to an abandoned 911 call at a residence near Seven Peaks Ice Arena. Police reports state that when he arrived, one of two males standing outside the home told the officer the caller went on a walk with another man, Marty Justice.
After a brief amount of time, police reports state dispatchers received another call, this time from the original caller’s wife, who told the officer the initial call was in reference to a burglary that had just occurred with Justice and the other men outside the residence, Ryan Harding and Gavin Oshley.
Harding, 22, of Provo, and Oshley, 25 of Lehi, tried to flee the scene, but officers apprehended the two. According to police reports, the officers found Oshley and Harding were in possession of a cell phone and an Xbox, which was in their truck. Both the Xbox and the cell phone were supposedly obtained by burglarizing the residence.
When Justice, 44, from Vernal, returned, he reportedly attempted to flee, but was also apprehended.
All three men were booked on suspicion of burglary, a second-degree felony.
