The Utah County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Wayne Russell, last known to live in the West Jordan area, for two warrants for his arrest.

Russell’s most recent warrant stems from an arrest made on June 9, 2014. According to arrest documents, at least four times between November 2011 and February 2013, Russell, 59, used his son’s information to open four different credit card accounts without his son’s knowledge.

Using these allegedly fraudulently obtained credit cards, Russell then obtained between $1,000 and $5,000 in purchased goods, reports state.

Russell was arrested and booked into Utah County Jail for multiple third-degree felony charges related to identity fraud and unlawful possession of a credit card.

Russell pleaded guilty to his crimes in November 2014. However, when he failed to report to his probation officer in June 2015, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Russell has another warrant for his arrest for one third-degree felony charge for issuing a bad check.

Russell has been described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.

Her third warrant is for one class B misdemeanor charge of violating an interlock ignition device.
