Tim McGraw sets Stadium of Fire aflame

Tim McGraw’s first appearance at the Stadium of Fire was the draw for the packed arena, and he did not disappoint. Singing a mixture of old favorites and new singles — sometimes letting the crowd of more than 40,000 excitedly take over the lyrics — his was an exciting show. With songs like “I Like It, I Love It,” he brought people to their feet.

Barb Murphy Dawson By far the BEST Stadium of Fire. Glad they let Tim do a 70 minute concert. We had a blast. But, what’s up with that new version of the Stadium of Fire theme song? That was horrible in my opinion. They kept singing everyone get up on your feet and that didn’t happen anywhere around our section.

Deidre Edwards I LOVED the old song & feel like they should keep it. I agree that the new song is awful. I swear it lasted forever and was kind of painful

Stephanie Thayn Follett I’m fine with them updating, they will probably have to update some of the producers to really make things better though. Meanwhile, they should have unveiled their new song earlier…….anything after Tim McGraw, but fireworks or more Tim McGraw is going to be a massive let down! Poor event line up!!! I felt bad for that poor Osmond kid! There is NO way people were gonna be excited to see him, as if Tim was headlining…for him?!?? Wow….major fopau! We had a great time though, and their bad planning made it much easier to leave early and beat traffic! #alwaysabrightside

Nichole Giles Great show! I was moved to tears more than once. Slightly disappointed in the fireworks as compared to years past. They seemed to be an afterthought rather than a major player in the event. But all-in-all, wonderful show. We are continually thrilled with the patriotism on display in the program. Nice job, organizers!
