Wood: In defense of Dr. Hafen

I find it a little disturbing that the Daily Herald would print letters from a reader that seems to have a vendetta against a local medical clinic and one of their physicians.

I’m sure that over the years, most of your readers have had a bad experience with a doctor or a dentist and in some cases these experiences may be the fault of the doctor or the dentist or in some cases, it is the fault of the patient. I have been a patient of Dr. Mark Hafen for many years and he is also the primary physician of several family members and I find him to be very knowledgeable, caring and professional.

In my opinion, The Daily Herald is not doing a service to their readers by printing letters that are not backed up by any information other than that provided by a disgruntled patient.

I am sure there are letters submitted to the editor that are of more interest to the general public than the vitriol that is spewed by Ms. Peay.
