A plane that made an emergency landing after catching on fire is pictured Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, at Provo Airport.

An aircraft made an emergency landing at the Provo Airport on Monday afternoon, but no fatalities were reported.

According to the Provo Police Department, authorities were notified just before 3 p.m. of a small aircraft on fire that was coming in to land.

After landing, four people exited the aircraft and one person was transported to Utah Valley Hospital by medics, Provo police spokeswoman Jana Lee Holland said in a news release.

The fire was extinguished by firefighters and the airport closed while officials responded to the scene.

Holland said she did not know which part of the aircraft was on fire. She confirmed there were “some injuries” but did not know the extent of them.

The FAA will investigate the incident, Holland said.
