An incident involving a possible armed suspect led to a temporary shelter-in-place request for a two-block area in Eagle Mountain Sunday morning.

According to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, there was an altercation between two parties inside a residence. When authorities responded to the home, a suspect that was possibly armed did not respond to deputies, a sheriff’s news release said.

A search warrant was obtained, and a Utah County Metro Swat team went into the home and detained the suspect without incident, according to authorities.

Starting at $4.32/week.
