Summer celebrations: Here are the city festivals coming to Utah Valley in May, June

Beginning this week is a stretch of festivals in communities across the county that offer fun activities for families to participate in throughout the warm-weather months.
Here is a list of the first wave of city festivals that will take place either this month or next across the county.
Pony Express Days, Eagle Mountain, May 25-30
Pony Express Days began Monday with a Memorial Day ceremony and will run through the weekend with events across Eagle Mountain, including a pickleball tournament from Wednesday to Friday at Cory Wride Memorial Park and the Grand Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday in the city center.
Family Festival, Cedar Hills, May 30 – June 6
Cedar Hills’ annual Family Festival begins Saturday, running through the following weekend. Highlights include the America 250 Patriotic Service at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at the Heritage Park Amphitheater and the Ducky Derby from noon to 3 p.m. on June 6 at Heritage Park.
A jam-packed five-day slate of Vineyard Days activities next week includes a block party on June 5 and Family Fun Day on June 6, each at Grove Park.
Art City Days, Springville, June 5-13
Springville’s new Art Loops: Downtown, a walkable public art display, will be launched June 8 as part of Art City Days. Other events include the Battle of the Bands on June 11 at Arts Park Amphitheater and the Duct Tape Regatta on June 13 at Bartholomew Park.
The weeklong OremFest is highlighted by Orem’s Got Talent on June 12 at City Center State and the nighttime Grand Parade on June 13.
Splash Days, Saratoga Springs, June 10-13
A teen chalk war on June 10 at Marina Park and a watermelon eating contest June 11 at Neptune Park are on the itinerary for Saratoga Springs’ Splash Days.
Strawberry Days, Pleasant Grove, June 13-21
The 105th annual Strawberry Days features a PRCA rodeo from June 17-20, a “Berry Special Festival” for children and individuals with disabilities and their families on June 18 and a parade on June 20.
The annual Lehi Round-Up will feature at rodeo from June 24-27 and a grand parade on June 27.
