Artists scheduled for the 2023-2024 BRAVO! Performing Arts Series.

Each year the BRAVO! Professional Performing Arts Series presents innovative and world-class performing arts to the BYU community. Award-winning artists will converge on campus, performing celebrated pieces and working directly with students. The curated lineup of 15 performances will include two nights with the incomparable Itzhak Perlman and the BYU Philharmonic, an evening with American Ballet Theatre Studio Company and a U.S. premiere with Tabea Zimmermann and the Utah Symphony.

“I am so thrilled to present my first full season as producer of the Bravo! Series,” said Lyndsay Keith. “I have combed the globe for a wide variety of music, dance, and theatre performances to entertain, inspire, and uplift audiences. Students in various disciplines through the College will also be served through masterclasses, workshops, and opportunities to observe professionals in their field of study. This is a core facet of Bravo that is very important to me, and I’m looking forward to an incredible season.”

This year the Series features new venues as the College of Fine Arts and Communications continues to experience substantial changes. The series is excited to host performances in the brand-new Music Building, with dance and theatrical performances continuing to take place at the Richards Building Performance Theatre and the Mainstage Theatre at West Campus.

The BRAVO! Series’ commitment to bring remarkable artists to campus will also benefit students within the College. Masterclasses, lectures and collaborations will allow students to interact with visiting performers personally, receiving direct instruction and learning about how to navigate the world as practicing artists. Attending performances will inspire students to dream about their own potential and motivate them to continue to hone their own skills.
