On Thursday, Provo High School went into a lockdown after a “possible weapons offense,” according to a Facebook post by the Provo Police Department.

In a series of Facebook and Twitter posts, the department shared that the incident ended without any injuries. The update read, “At 12:37, a call came in from Provo High. A student notified a teacher a gun (was) seen during (an) argument between two males. The school was immediately put on lockdown, with students evacuated and all precautionary measures being taken.”

The police department added that both individuals were identified and found and that the school is still an active investigation scene.

Calls for more information were not immediately returned by the Provo City School District or the police department.
