A Provo police car is parked on Center Street on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Provo Police are continuing their investigation into the death of a woman found early Thursday morning.

The police responded to a suspicious death at 800 North 850 West. Investigators determined that a female, identified as 21-year-old Isabelle Parr, was struck by a vehicle while jogging between 5:20 and 5:25 p.m.

“The vehicle involved fled the scene without stopping or calling for help,” said Shad Lefevere, police spokesperson.

Residents were asked to avoid the area or to expect lengthy traffic delays due to the large amount of police activity on the scene.

Residents are being asked to come forward with any information they may have, particularly in identifying the vehicle in question. If you witnessed or have any knowledge of the accident that could help investigators, you are encouraged to contact Detective Smith at 801-852-6385 or by email at csmith@provo.org.
