Intermountain Health on Thursday announced the opening of a new clinic in Vineyard, bringing patient care closer to residents of the growing lakeside city.

The clinic is located at 667 E. 500 North, Suite 210, and offers primary care and family medicine services.

Intermountain said is its goal in opening the clinic is to give people more options for receiving preventative care.

“When people have a primary care doctor in their community it’s easier to meet their health needs and receive regular checkups,” said Dr. Matias Calquin, a physician at the Intermountain Vineyard Clinic, in a release. “This is vital to catching potential health problems early.”

The clinic will offer the following services: behavioral health, chronic pain management, family medicine and care, immunizations and vaccinations, lab and X-ray services, nutrition services, referrals to specialists, routine examination and physicals, and virtual care.

Vineyard is among the fastest-growing cities in Utah. Intermountain Health said it intends to serve the city’s population, which is projected to increase by 200% in the next 15 years.

“As our community grows, we will be able to add more services and caregivers to handle those needs,” Calquin said.
