By Staff | Nov 2, 2022

Spring City Elementary Red Ribbon Week.

The PTA at Spring City Elementary set up activities for Red Ribbon Week this year. The theme for this year was, “Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free” which reminds all American that living a drug-free lifestyle contributes greatly to the safety and health of their communities.

The students were encouraged to make a commitment to live a drug-free and healthy life! As part of this commitment process the PTA designated apparel days.

Monday was “Dream big and stay drug free” and student enjoyed pajama day.

Tuesday was “Sock-it to drugs” and wore crazy socks.

Wednesday was “Hairs to a drug-free life” and had crazy hairdos.

Thursday was “Hats off to being drug free” and got to wear hats.

Friday was “Our school is ‘REDy’ to live a drug free life” and they wore red or their school spirit shirts.

Each day, members of each class voted on the best PJs, socks, hair, etc. and that student got to select a prize.

The efforts and creativity of the PTA are greatly appreciated!

Crazy socks were quite the item at Sping City Elemtary Red Ribbon Week.
