The Sanpete Food Pantry needs help in reaching their goal of $20,000.

Tuesday, Nov. 28 was “Giving Tuesday,” a global day of giving where people all over the world come together to support their favorite nonprofits. This year, Sanpete Pantry participated in “Giving Tuesday” by inviting everyone to help support their neighbors in our community.

The goal is to raise $20,000, making it possible to provide 2,000 kid packs for kids in Sanpete County. Each kid pack feeds a child over a weekend (when they need it most – they don’t have school lunch) with 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches.

The Sanpete Pantry knows that they will only reach that $20,000 goal through the kindness and generosity of people like you. Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate to Sanpete Food Pantry and help provide food for families that are in need in our county.
  • Spread the word; tell your friends, family and co-workers about your passion for wiping out food insecurity and invite them to join you to make a difference.

The Sanpete Pantry’s resources have been stretched drastically so far in 2023. By October, it already provided more assistance than in all of 2022. The group is only able to make this possible because of supporters like you. Follow the Sanpete Pantry on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/SanpetePantry.

The group shares updates and stories throughout the day about how much you and others in our community are making a difference. Its goal: “Food security through providing timely access to food, warehousing food for difficult times and building food production capabilities in our local communities.”

Starting at $4.32/week.
