Snow College’s women’s wrestling team has clinched the coveted top spot on the 2024 NJCAA Women’s Team Scholar All-America list, as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, or NWCA.

With an impressive grade point average of 3.849, Snow College outshone competitors nationwide, solidifying its reputation as a powerhouse both on and off the wrestling mat. Following closely behind is Umpqua Community College, of Oregon, with a commendable GPA of 3.823, and Indian Hills Community College, of Iowa, securing the third spot with a GPA of 3.695.

Mike Moyer, executive director of NWCA, expressed his delight in recognizing the exceptional dedication demonstrated by these athletes. He commended their unwavering commitment not only to their sport but also to academic excellence, emphasizing the significance of their achievements.
