Miss Moroni and Little Miss Moroni pageant Saturday, April 20

Excitement is in the air in Moroni as the town eagerly anticipates the upcoming Miss Moroni and Little Miss Moroni Pageant, set to take place at the historic Moroni Opera House at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. The stage is set for a night of beauty, talent, and community spirit as contestants prepare to showcase their skills and platforms.

Among the Miss Moroni contestants are five remarkable young women, each with their own unique backgrounds, talents, and aspirations.

Kynnedy Cartright, daughter of Kris West and JR Cartwright, aims to foster connections with senior citizens through her service platform. With a talent for singing and plans to pursue engineering at Wyoming Technical College, Kynnedy was poised to make a difference in her community.

Brooklyn Larson, daughter of Jason and Nicole Larson, advocates for a community of caring as her service platform. With a passion for piano and aspirations to obtain a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Brooklyn is ready to leave her mark on Moroni.

Yaretzi Munguia, daughter of Mayra and Fernando Cervantes, emphasizes the importance of being present in the moment through physical activity. With a talent for dance and plans to graduate from Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences, Yaretzi embodied determination and dedication.

Jacelyn Reyes, daughter of Brian and Chelcie Reyes and Joni Kraegan Davis, focuses on providing meals that matter as her service platform. With a talent for archery and ambitious plans to pursue a degree in biology, Jacelyn is determined to make a positive impact on her community.

Angela Vasquez, daughter of Eloisa Lemus, promotes movement starting with oneself through her service platform. With a talent for volleyball and aspirations to attend esthetician school, Angela was committed to empowering others to lead active and healthy lifestyles.

The Little Miss Moroni contestants are equally impressive, with each young girl showcasing her own unique talents and service platforms.

Isabella Figueroa aims to get kids active in sports,

Parents are Guadalupe Ornelas and Manual Figueroa.

Mariana Navarrete focuseson keeping parks clean,

Parents are Mariano and Lorena Navarrete.

Elean Nesbit advocats for physical fitness,

Parents are Dennis and Natalie Nesbit.

Kaelynn Patino works to plant flowers in the cemetery,

Parents are Kalley Patino.

Kaitlyn Taylor aims to remove the stigma surrounding disabilities,

Parents are Craig and Tamera Taylor.

Haizlei Cox emphasized the importance of keeping parks clean,

Parents are Dayna and Josh Cox,

Talent will be Dance.

As the community gathers to support these young women and girls, the spirit of unity and camaraderie will fill the Moroni Opera House. Regardless of the outcome, each contestant will be celebrated for her dedication to serving others and making a positive impact on the community of Moroni.
