Spring City to host community Christmas Eve program

By Staff | Dec 17, 2025

Spring City’s Community Christmas Eve program is coming again.

SPRING CITY — A longstanding Christmas Eve tradition will return to Spring City on Wednesday, Dec. 24, with a community Christmas Eve program celebrating the birth of Christ.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the rock chapel in Spring City and will feature congregational carol singing, local soloists and scripture readings that retell the Nativity story. Soloists for the evening will include members of the local community, among them Brian Stucki.

Organizers say the program is designed to be family-friendly and intentionally brief, allowing those who attend to still enjoy their own Christmas Eve traditions afterward.

The roots of the program stretch back many years to a similar Christmas Eve service held at the Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant. When that church closed, individuals who had participated in the program helped carry on the tradition by bringing it to Spring City, where it has continued as a community event open to all.

Everyone is invited to attend, and there is no charge.
