With an extensive lineup of performances, concerts, and art displays, there is something for everyone to enjoy in the coming months. Whether you’re a fan of musical theater, live concerts, or improv comedy, Snow College is offering a variety of cultural experiences to captivate audiences of all ages.

March performances

Kicking off March is the grand finale of “Anastasia,” a breathtaking musical directed by Jenn Chandler. Running until March 1 at the Eccles Center Kim Christison Theatre, this spectacular production tells the story of Anya, a young woman on a journey to discover her past. With stunning music by Tony Award-winning composers Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, “Anastasia” is a must-see performance that combines adventure, romance, and the magic of 1920s Paris. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for youth and seniors.

For those looking for a night of spontaneous laughter, “Snow Improv”–formerly known as “Badgers in a Bathtub”–offers live, unscripted comedy performances on multiple nights in March (14-15, 21-22, and 28-29). With audience participation guiding the hilarity, these shows guarantee a fresh and unpredictable experience every time. Entry is just $1 at the door, making it an affordable night out for friends and families alike.

Music lovers can look forward to “Memories in Music,” a special Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band concert on March 18 at the Jorgensen Concert Hall. Directed by Chris Nelson, this performance will feature powerful and evocative compositions that highlight the depth and talent of Snow College’s instrumentalists. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for youth and seniors.

A unique musical experience awaits on March 28 with “Studio Blue’s Guardians of the Galaxy Sing-Along Concert.” Fans of the hit movie soundtrack will love this high-energy event, where the audience is encouraged to sing along with the Snow College Rock Band, Studio Blue. Expect to hear iconic hits and feel the energy of a live rock performance like never before. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for youth and seniors, with a portion of the proceeds supporting scholarships for Performing Arts students.

April performances

April brings a diverse array of musical performances, including jazz, orchestra, and percussion concerts. “The Jazz Combo Concert” on April 1 and the Jazz Big Band Concert on April 8 will showcase the talent of Snow College’s jazz musicians, while the “Percussion Concert” on April 10 will bring rhythm and excitement to the stage.

On April 11, the “Orchestra Concert” will fill the Jorgensen Concert Hall with a stunning symphonic experience, and for those who love contemporary dance, the Spring Dance performances on April 25-26 promise an evening of beautifully choreographed movement and expression.

The month also features “Enemy of the People,” a gripping play that will run from April 16-19 and again from April 21-24. This thought-provoking production explores themes of truth, power, and public perception, making it a must-see for theater enthusiasts.
