Miss Moroni Pageant set for April 25 at North Sanpete Middle School
MORONI — The annual Miss Moroni Pageant is set for Saturday, April 25, at 6 p.m. at North Sanpete Middle School, where community members will gather to support local young women and girls competing for the titles of Miss Moroni, Little Miss Moroni and Mini Miss Moroni.
Admission to the event is $5, and Moroni City is encouraging residents to attend and show their support for the contestants and their service platforms.
Competing for the title of Miss Moroni are Natalie Gutierrez and Alexa Rodriguez.

Natalie Gutierrez
Gutierrez, daughter of Eduardo Gutierrez and Jessica Ornelas, has chosen CPR awareness and life-saving education as her service platform. She hopes to teach youth basic CPR and first aid skills through workshops and hands-on demonstrations, helping create a safer and more confident community. For her talent presentation, she will demonstrate CPR and life-saving techniques.

Alexa Rodriguez
Rodriguez, daughter of Agustin and Raquel Rodriguez, is promoting body positivity through her service platform. She hopes to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness, stay active in ways they enjoy and celebrate self-confidence regardless of shape or size. She is passionate about helping others, traveling and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Several young contestants will also compete for the title of Little Miss Moroni.

Sadie Hales
Sadie Hales, daughter of Kevin and Ana Hales, enjoys horseback riding, camping, fishing, tumbling, dancing and singing. She has lived in Moroni her entire life and plans to focus on bullying prevention if crowned Little Miss Moroni.

Bryndle Hopes
Bryndle Hopes, daughter of Boedee and PattiJo Hopes, will perform a dance routine and promote her platform, “Kindness Counts,” by spreading uplifting messages throughout the community. She enjoys dancing, golf and drawing and has six siblings.

Kambrie Russell
Kambrie Russell, daughter of Brennen Russell, is passionate about patriotism and community involvement. She hopes to encourage residents to support local events, honor veterans and first responders, and show pride in their town through kindness and service.

Alison Tapia
Alison Tapia, daughter of Jane Guitron and Juan Tapia, enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her family. Her service platform focuses on helping individuals experiencing social isolation by assembling care kits with handwritten notes and assisting elderly community members with chores they may be unable to complete on their own.
Competing for the title of Mini Miss Moroni are Paislee Christensen, Hailey Larsen, Harlynn Larsen and Brylee Michie.

Paislee Christensen
Paislee Christensen, daughter of Caitlin and Gavin Baldwin, and Kody Christensen, has chosen anti-bullying as her platform and promotes treating others with kindness and respect.

Hailey Larsen
Hailey Larsen, daughter of Tyler and Kasi Larsen, will sing “You Are My Sunshine” for her talent. She enjoys soccer, school and cooking with her mother. Her service project involves raising money for the community through a bake sale

Miss Moroni Pageant Set for March 25 at North Sanpete Middle School
Harlynn Larsen, also the daughter of Tyler and Kasi Larsen, will perform a dance routine. She loves horses, camping and family time. Her platform focuses on keeping local parks clean and safe for children.

Brylee Michee
Brylee Michie, daughter of Megan and Brad Michie, is a kindergarten student who loves tumbling, dancing and reading at the library. She hopes to become a police officer and lifeguard one day. Her service project, “Pink Protectors: Because We Want To,” focuses on creating thank-you notes and collecting books and coloring supplies for local heroes and children. She will perform a retro hip-hop dance to the song “Because We Want To.”
Brylee also shared a special thank you to reigning Miss Moroni Kenadee Hopes for being a teacher and role model.
City leaders say the pageant is a celebration of leadership, talent and service, highlighting the positive contributions these young participants are making in the Moroni community.
