Snow College opens new counseling and wellness center in Ephraim
The new facility includes the public-facing Revere Health Ephraim Family Medicine & Urgent Care clinic at the front of the building, and Snow College’s Counseling and Wellness Center in the rear.
New facility reflects commitment to whole-student success
EPHRAIM — Snow College will open the doors to its new Counseling and Wellness Center with a public open house on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., inviting students, faculty, and community members to tour the updated space at 191 South Main Street.
The event will feature refreshments, games, and guided tours of the newly completed Counseling and Wellness Center, which occupies the rear portion of the building. The front of the facility houses the public-facing Revere Health Ephraim Family Medicine & Urgent Care clinic, creating a shared location focused on both physical and mental health services.
College officials say the new center represents a significant investment in student well-being and reflects a broader commitment to supporting students beyond the classroom.
“This new space represents our commitment to supporting the whole student,” said Bryan Moulton, director of Snow College’s Counseling and Wellness Center. “We are excited to welcome students into an environment designed to promote well-being, connection, and personal growth.”
The Counseling and Wellness Center provides a dedicated and thoughtfully designed environment where students can access mental health counseling, wellness education, and personal development resources. College leaders say the updated space allows for expanded services and creates a more welcoming atmosphere tailored specifically to student needs.
In recent years, colleges and universities nationwide have seen increased demand for mental health services. Snow College’s new facility is intended to meet that growing need while fostering a culture that emphasizes balance, resilience, and connection.
By situating counseling services in a modern, purpose-built space, the college hopes to reduce stigma and encourage more students to seek support when needed. The design emphasizes comfort and privacy while also providing areas that promote engagement and wellness programming.
The partnership with Revere Health in the same building further strengthens the focus on comprehensive care. While the medical clinic serves the broader public, its proximity underscores the link between physical health and mental wellness — an approach Snow College leaders describe as essential to student success.
The Feb. 25 open house is designed as both a celebration and an opportunity for the community to see firsthand how the college is investing in student support services. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new counseling offices and wellness spaces, meet staff members, and learn more about available programs.
Snow College, founded in 1888 by Utah pioneers, serves more than 5,000 students across its campuses in Ephraim and Richfield, as well as through its learning center in Nephi. As a two-year institution, the college focuses on providing affordable, accessible education while helping students prepare for transfer opportunities or enter the workforce with meaningful experience.
College leaders emphasize that academic achievement is closely tied to personal well-being. By expanding its Counseling and Wellness Center, Snow College aims to provide students with the tools they need not only to succeed in their coursework but also to develop life skills that support long-term growth.
The college’s mission includes helping students graduate with minimal debt, gain resume-building experience, and create a clear plan for their future. Officials say the new facility aligns with that mission by ensuring students have access to the emotional and mental health support necessary to stay on track and reach their goals.
Community members, students, and college employees are encouraged to attend the open house and explore the new space. Organizers hope the event will foster greater awareness of available resources and strengthen the connection between the college and the surrounding community.
