Justin Snell wed

in LDS Temple

FOUNTAIN GREEN– Carolyn Bailey, Fountain Green; announces the marriage of her daughter, Kristen, to Justin Snell, son of Cheryl and Scott Rouse and Lyle and Mehl Ree Snell, Aug. 2, 2014, in the San Diego LDS Temple. The bride is also the daughter of the late Paul Bailey.

An open house will be held in their honor from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Springville LDS Stake Center, 495 South Canyon Road.

The bride graduated from North Sanpete High school in 1999. Following graduation, she played basketball for two years and received her associate of science degree in 2001 from Snow College.

After Snow College, she then played both volleyball and basketball for the College of Idaho. In 2003, the bride graduated Cum Laud with a bachelors degree and again in 2004 with a masters degree. After coaching and teaching in Caldwell, ID; for three years, she moved back to Utah to teach and coach at Timpview High School.

The bridegroom graduated from Timpanogos High School in 2003 and graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor in history education in 2008. In 2012 he completed his masters in special education from Grand Canyon University.

In 2009, he taught severe special education at Springville High School and has been an assistant basketball coach for the past five years and head volleyball coach for the past two. He is currently employed at Timpview High School as a resource math teacher and head women’s basketball coach.

The couple will make their first home in Springville.
