With two successful seasons under their belt, Crazy Club Productions is excited to begin its third season of Life Under The Horseshoe, a one-hour “old time” weekly radio show.

The stage at Victory Hall was graced by some remarkable performances last season. Their generosity in sharing was appreciated by all who listened and attended.

Director and main writer for shows, Lawrence Gardner has been busy collecting ideas and stories for the new season. He meets weekly with a writing team where they toss around story elements and work together to offer the best there is in radio show entertainment for listeners and friends who attend the live performances. He is always keeping an open call for any new writers who are interested in joining the team.

Musical directors Mark and Vicki Allen have been searching far and wide for new musical guests to perform on the shows and find no shortage of talented individuals and groups who are sure to delight everyone out there in radio land, or those who come and find a seat in Victory Hall. Anyone interested in sharing a talent are encouraged to contact Vicki at (435) 602-9787.

Costume designer, ticket office gatekeeper and “jack of all office duties” Lana Gardner is currently keeping things in order and setting up new systems as well as contributing practical ideas on running a tight ship and in all other aspects of the show.

The team couldn’t be happier or more excited to be starting another season of Life Under The Horseshoe. Though season dates have changed slightly, the Saturday evening start time will continue to be 7 p.m.and will still be broadcast on KMGR, 95.9 or 102.7.

If someone is in an area that is not reached by KMGR, they can always go to the website and click the link to “listen live” on Saturday. If people happen to be visiting the great little town of Spring City this summer, stop in and catch an episode of Life Under The Horseshoe, it will be well worth the time.

Victory Hall

Victory Hall, home of Life Under The Horseshoe is a 100-year-old vaudeville house that is on the National Historic Register and has recently won the Utah Heritage Foundation Award for restorations.

It is worth making the trip to Spring City just to see this picturesque old theatre. And, while there, check out the Spring City Inn, a 100-year-old rock cowboy hotel next door, also on the National Historic Register, that has been turned into a Bed and Breakfast.

This facility is open to the public as well as used to house the talent that performs in Victory Hall, just like it did a century ago. Moreover, these and many historical homes and other buildings are located in the middle of this rich pioneer heritage town, also on the National Historic Register, the entire town.
