1. No. 8 Oregon (7-1, 5-0 Pac-12)

Last results: Bo Nix accounted for six touchdowns (three passing, three rushing) as the No. 8 Ducks routed Cal 42-24.

What’s Up? The Buffaloes surrendered 557 yards of offense, including 435 yards passing, in a 42-34 loss to Arizona State. … Oregon leads the overall series 14-9 and has won eight of the past nine meetings, including a 52-29 victory in Eugene last year.

2. Arkansas (5-3, 2-3 SEC West)

Last results: K.J. Jefferson ran for a two touchdowns and passed for a third as Arkansas raced past Auburn 41-27.

Game On: Saturday vs. No. 23 Liberty (7-1), 2 p.m. MT (SEC Network)

What’s Up? Liberty had the week off after routing BYU 41-14 on Oct. 22. … This will be the first matchup between Liberty and Arkansas. The Razorbacks also beat BYU, by a score of 52-35.

3. No. 23 Liberty (7-1)

What’s Up? Arkansas handled Auburn 41-27, with Rocket Sanders running for 171 yards. … Last week, Liberty extended coach Hugh Freeze’s contract through 2030 and entered the AP Top 25 for the first time since the 2020 season.

4. Baylor (5-3, 3-2 Big 12)

Last results: Richard Reece rushed 36 times for 148 yards and three touchdowns as Baylor blasted Texas Tech 45-17.

Game On: Saturday at Oklahoma (5-3, 2-3 Big 12), 1 p.m. MT (ESPN+)

What’s Up? Eric Gray rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown and the Oklahoma defense grabbed three interceptions in a 27-13 victory against Iowa State. … The Sooners have dominated the series with Baylor 28-4, though the Bears won last year in Waco 27-14 to break a seven-game losing streak against Oklahoma.

5. Notre Dame (5-3)

Last results: Brandon Joseph returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown on the first play of the game and tailback Audric Estime rushed for 123 yards and two scores to lead Notre Dame past No. 16 Syracuse 41-24.

Game On: Saturday vs. No. 5 Clemson (8-0, 6-0 ACC Atlantic), 5:30 p.m. MT (NBC)

What’s Up? Clemson has been off since a 27-21 victory against Syracuse on Oct. 22. … The Tigers lead the overall series with Notre Dame 4-2 and Clemson won the last meeting 34-10 in 2020.

6. Boise State (6-2, 5-0 MWC Mountain)

Last results: Taylen Green threw for a career-high 305 yards and two touchdowns and George Holani ran for three more scores as Boise State rolled past Colorado State 49-10.

What’s Up? Boise State leads the overall series with the Cougars 8-4. … BYU won last time out in Boise 51-17 (2020) but the Broncos won last season in Provo 26-17.

7. East Carolina (6-3, 3-2 AAC)

Last results: Andrew Conrad kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Pirates to a 27-24 road win at BYU, the Cougars fourth straight loss.

What’s Up? East Carolina ran for 227 yards against BYU, averaging 6.3 yards per carry. … The Pirates are off until November 11, when it will play at Cincinnati.

8. Wyoming (6-3, 4-1 MWC Mountain)

Last results: Dawaiian McNeely scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 61-yard run early in the fourth quarter as Wyoming held off Hawaii 27-20.

What’s Up? The Cowboys rolled up 365 rushing yards against the Warriors, with DQ James posting 179 yards on 14 carries. … Wyoming’s next game is Nov. 12 at Colorado State.

9. Stanford (3-5, 1-5 Pac-12)

Last results: No. 12 UCLA held Stanford to 270 total yards and Zach Charbonnet ran for 198 yards and three touchdowns as the Bruins earned a 38-12 victory.

What’s Up? Cameron Ward was 27 of 31 for 222 yards and a touchdown in Washington State’s 21-17 loss to No. 14 Utah. … Stanford leads the overall series with the Cougars 40-30-1 but WSU has won five straight, including a 34-31 victory in Pullman last season.

10. Utah State (3-5, 2-2 MWC Mountain)

What’s Up? New Mexico’s last game (Oct. 22) was a 41-9 loss to Fresno State, the Lobos fifth straight defeat. … Utah State leads the overall series with New Mexico 15-13 and has won seven of the past nine, including a 35-10 victory in Albuquerque last season.

11. South Florida (1-7, 0-4 AAC)

Last results: Clayton Tune threw for 380 yards and four touchdowns and Stacy Sneed rushed for two touchdowns as Houston beat South Florida 42-27.

Game On: Saturday at Temple (2-6, 0-4 AAC), noon (ESPN+)

What’s Up? Quarterback Xavier Arline scored on a 23-yard run in overtime as Navy outlasted Temple 27-20. … The Owls lead the overall series with South Florida 5-3 but the Bulls won the last meeting 34-14 last season.

12. Utah Tech (2-6, 1-3 WAC)

Last results: Victor Gabalis passed for 377 yards and five touchdowns to lead Utah Tech to a wild 47-44 victory at Stephen F. Austin.

Game On: Saturday vs. Southern Utah (3-5, 1-3 WAC), 6 p.m. (ESPN+)

What’s Up? SUU has been off since Oct. 22, when it lost to Stephen F. Austin 41-38. … Utah Tech and SUU have already played once this season, a 31-17 Thunderbirds victory after Justin Miller threw for 352 yards and two touchdowns.
