The Word:

BYU and TCU are meeting for the 14th time overall, with the Cougars trailing 6-7 in the series. BYU and TCU have been conference foes before in other leagues prior to reuniting in the Big 12. The two teams have played 10 games as league opponents (5-5). Before 2023’s reunion in the Big 12, the Cougars and Horned Frogs spent time in both the Western Athletic Conference and the Mountain West Conference together, matching up twice in the WAC (1996, 97) and six times in the MW (05-10). Last year, BYU beat TCU 44-13 in one of the Cougars’ most complete victories of the 2025 season.
