Timpview will not win it’s fifth championship in a row.

The Springville Red Devils upset the Region 7 champion T’Birds 38-27 on Friday afternoon.

Timpview has won the 4A state championship in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Springville quarterback Steve Bate had three touchdown passes and ran for another.

The Red Devils scored on plays of 83, 72 and 51 yards. Hurting the defending champion T’Birds’ chances of mounting the comeback.

Springville will face the Highland-Pine View winner on Nov. 12 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
