Here are the top girls wrestlers in the Utah Valley area in 2022-23:

Girls Wrestler of the Year: Lizzie Raleigh, Westlake, 155 lbs.

The Utah Valley Wrestler of the Year was beyond dominant, going 33-0 on the season to win her third state title.

Coach of the Year: Cody Burdett, Westlake

Under the direction of Burdett, the Thunder won their third straight state championship, crowned individual six state champions, and finished No. 7 in the national rankings.

Isla Baeza, Mountain View, 130 lbs.

Two-time state finalist brought home the gold in 2023.

Rachel Camacho, ALA, 115 lbs.

Camacho won second straight title, losing just three times on the season.

Ashley Cannon, Westlake, 125 lbs.

Thunder Senior took home second 6A straight title and was named the Outstanding Wrestler in the lower weight divisions.

Olivia Carrillo, ALA, 145 lbs.

Eagle senior lost just once her senior year and won her third state title.

Celeste Detoles, Westlake, 135 lbs.

Thunder junior overcame injury to win her third 6A state title while finishing ranked No. 24 in the country.

Sage Eggleston, Maple Mountain, 135 lbs.

Golden Eagle freshman wins her first state title.

Taimane Fiatoa, Timpview, 170 lbs.

Thunder senior won two state titles and placed second in 2023 losing just twice on the season.

Emmy Finlinson, Westlake, 145 lbs.

First official state champion in school history won her third state title in her senior year.

Jaskin Hair, ALA, 100 lbs.

Sophomore won state title with a dramatic win in sudden victory overtime.

Hayley Harris, Springville, 155 lbs.

Red Devil junior placed second losing to her teammate in the state championship match.

Karalie Harris, Springville, 140 lbs.

Senior placed second for Springville and went 35-5 on the season.

Jocelyn Hepler, Salem Hills, 190 lbs.

Skyhawk junior won state title after placing second last year for ALA.

Emeri Mortimer, Springville, 105 lbs.

Red Devil sophomore went 26-3 and placed second in state.

Hailey Piig, Westlake, 140 lbs.

Thunder senior and 3-time state placer climbed to the top of the podium in 2021.

Aurelia Ramos, Maple Mountain, 170 lbs.

Golden Eagle junior took state and went 28-0 on the season.

Keilikki Rarick, Westlake, 235 lbs.

Thunder sophomore lost just once on the season while picking up her second state title and a No. 17 national ranking.

Madison Sherman, Skyridge, 130 lbs.

Falcon freshman placed second and went 32-4 on the year.

Hotaia Valeti, Springville, 155 lbs.

Red Devil junior won her third state title.

Alexia Woods, Cedar Valley, 125 lbs.

Aviator grappler won her second state title while keying her team to win the second-place trophy.
