Making progress: Huntsman Cancer Institute in Vineyard begins vertical construction
Nearly a year-and-a-half after breaking ground, the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Vineyard began vertical construction this month. The facility being built in the Utah City development will support the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, giving care to patients in Utah County, central and southern Utah and providing additional research opportunities to the region. Scheduled to open in 2028, plans call for a 284,000-square-foot cancer center with a five-story clinical care building and a three-story research building.
