UDOT looking to remove seven at-grade railroad crossings through Springville, Spanish Fork
A preliminary Utah Department of Transportation and Utah Transit Authority project aims to remove at-grade railroad crossings through a Springville neighborhood and connect two Union Pacific Railroad lines to improve safety and mobility. The plan, which was proposed in a UDOT public hearing Tuesday in Springville, involves removing two miles of the Tintic Line in Spanish Fork and Springville and rerouting the line to connect with the Sharp Line.
