Roadway safety: UDOT construction project in Spanish Fork Canyon to begin Friday, run through end of year
Construction up Spanish Fork Canyon will begin Friday as the Utah Department of Transportation aims to make safety enhancements along a 3-mile section of the roadway. UDOT announced Thursday the project will begin at 7 a.m. on U.S. Highway 6, going from Diamond Fork Road to the U.S. 89 junction, with each direction of the passage being reduced from two lanes to one through December. The project is estimated to be completed at the end of the year.
