As Buckley Draw Fire reaches 21% containment, potential storm raises concerns over different threats
A series of storms projected to bring rain, along with the potential of thunder and lightning, is forecasted to impact Utah Valley over the coming days, according to the National Weather Service of Salt Lake City. For firefighters battling the Buckley Draw Fire in Provo, the incoming storms could increase the challenges they’re currently facing on the mountainside. The fire sparked Sunday afternoon on a mountainside south of Slate Canyon in Provo.
