Red tape review: Business owners, lawmakers meet in Pleasant Grove to discuss regulatory reform
From discrepancies in beef processing inspections to a lack of clarity regarding water reuse policies, there are a number of government regulations that Utah business owners say are disruptive to their respective industries. On Tuesday, at the Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater in Pleasant Grove, business owners from 11 industries met with lawmakers to discuss these challenges and possible solutions to ease bureaucratic burdens.
