Provo Airport reopens after aircraft incident forces runway closure Monday
The Provo Airport runway was closed for several hours Monday after a small aircraft carrying four people made an emergency landing. The closure, which was lifted late Monday night, caused several cancelations to inbound and outbound flights, according to Provo police, and travelers were asked to check with airlines for any Tuesday delays. Authorities were notified just before 3 p.m. of a small aircraft on fire that was coming in to land.
