City Council to vote on Provo Towne Centre redevelopment plan Tuesday, mall says
The Provo City Council plans to vote on the proposed concept plan for the redevelopment of the Provo Towne Centre next Tuesday, the mall management team informed its tenants Thursday. Mall owner Brixton Capital, alongside partner PEG Companies, is looking to transform the south Provo mall into a multi-use development fitted with housing, retail and entertainment. The plan calls for 1,300 apartments for rent, 80 for-sale townhomes and the retention of three anchor tenants: Target, J.C. Penny and Cinemark.
