Dedication date announced for Ephraim Utah Temple

An artist's rendering of the Ephraim Utah Temple.The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced Monday that the Ephraim Utah Temple will be dedicated on Oct. 11.
The public is invited to tour the temple from Sept. 2-19, excluding Sundays.
Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the church will preside over the dedication, with the session being broadcast to all units in the Ephraim Utah Temple district.
The Ephraim temple is one of 11 temples throughout the world to have a dedication date scheduled and will be the 26th dedicated temple in Utah (counting the Provo Rock Canyon Temple and the Salt Lake Temple, although those are closed for renovations).
The Lindon Utah Temple is set to be dedicated on May 3.
President Russell M. Nelson announced the Ephraim Utah Temple on May 1, 2021.
Additional temples in Utah are planned for Smithfield, Heber Valley, West Jordan, Lehi, Spanish Fork and Price.
The church also announced Monday that a groundbreaking for the Springfield Missouri Temple will be held on June 6.
The Springfield temple is the third temple in Missouri, joining the St. Louis Missouri Temple and the Kansas City Missouri Temple.
On Sunday night, the church announced a temple to be built in Marysville, Washington, the seventh temple for the state.
