A rendering of the Spanish Fork Utah Temple is shown.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gave the public a first glimpse of the future exterior of the Spanish Fork Utah Temple on Monday.

The rendering portrays the temple as a multistory building with a white stone-clad edifice, topped by two spires that appear to be plated with a bronze-colored material.

The temple was first announced by Russell M. Nelson, the church’s former president, during the April 2025 general conference. It will be built on an 8.7-acre lot at the corner of 110 South and 2550 East, across the street from Maple Mountain High School.

“We know many in the community are enthusiastic about the announcement and see it as a positive addition to Spanish Fork,” a city spokesperson told the Daily Herald in January. “As with any significant development, the project will move through the city’s standard review and approval process. City staff looks forward to working collaboratively with representatives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to review the proposal, evaluate impacts and ensure all applicable requirements are met.”

Upon completion, the Spanish Fork Utah Temple will be the ninth Latter-day Saints temple in Utah County.

Starting at $4.32/week.
