Brush fire breaks out in Saratoga Springs, evacuations ordered

The Glamert Lane fire as seen Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Saratoga Springs.A brush fire started in Saratoga Springs west of the Utah Saratoga Springs Temple Saturday afternoon, prompting evacuations in a nearby neighborhood.
The Glambert Lane fire was discovered at 3:26 p.m. Saturday on the north side of Lake Mountain and had burned an estimated 175 acres by Saturday evening and was 0% contained, according to Utah Fire Info.
Saratoga Springs Fire initially ordered evacuations for some homes on Mahogany Street, but no new homes are threatened, according to a 5:33 p.m. update.
Authorities are asking people to stay away from the area, particularly, Mountain View Corridor south on Pony Express and the Brixton Park Neighborhood street, to allow crews to work.
Crews continue to fight the fire with air support, Saratoga Springs fire said.
