Holiday glow: Provo City Council to allow holiday lights year-round, remove nightly curfew
A month after updating its lighting code to make the city more dark sky compliant, the Provo City Council revisited the code Tuesday to make an amendment regarding holiday lighting. The Aug. 25 code update restricted new and replaced outdoor fixtures to 3,000 Kelvin or less and required them to be fully shielded, with exceptions made for holiday lights, outdoor sports facilities and other temporary lighting.
