Boys Basketball

Tigers D held Wasatch to two single-digit quarters.

T-Birds have grudge match with Orem on Friday.
3. Westlake (14-5)
Symon Sua goes for 27 points as Thunder beat up Skyridge.
4. Springville (13-6)
High-flying Andrew Miller with 33 points in win vs. Salem Hills.
5. Payson (15-5)
Great week for Lions with victories vs. Provo and Timpanogos.

Girls Basketball
1. Payson (17-2)
A two-point loss to Provo doesn’t drop the Lions, but sends a message that they need to refocus.
2. Salem Hills (17-3)
The Skyhawks needs to make big plays to hold off Springville on Friday.
3. Provo (19-2)
The Bulldogs got the big win of the week, edging Payson on the road.
4. Wasatch (16-3)
The Wasps make their longest league road trip Friday as they play at Cedar Valley.
5. Westlake (13-6)
The Thunder couldn’t defeat Skyridge twice in 2OT, falling on the road.

Thunder win Divisional B tourney, set sights on dethroning Layton
2. Spanish Fork
Dons qualify 22 wrestlers for state tourney and look good to repeat.
3. Wasatch
Wasps crown five champs in 5A Divisional B tourney.
4. Timpanogos
Timberwolves finish second to Uintah at 4A Divisional A meet.
5. Mountain View
Bruins win 4A Divisional B meet and send 21 to state tourney.
