Bear sighting reported in east Provo neighborhood, no existing public safety threat
Provo Animal Control officers and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources responded Wednesday to reports of a bear on the loose in Provo, authorities told the Daily Herald. Provo police spokeswoman Jana-Lee Holland said multiple residents reported sightings, including one captured on a ring camera, of a juvenile black bear walking in an east Provo neighborhood north of Splash Summit Water Park.
