“I probably won’t watch it because our team’s already been eliminated. I will be watching the NIT though, the National Invitation Tournament. I think it’s a good season. I wish that there wasn’t quite so much roughness on the court, people falling to the floor. Well, BYU is the team we follow, and they didn’t make it in the top two of the WCC Conference. That means we don’t get to go to the NCAA Tournament, but we get to go to the National Invitational. I’m always grateful for that. When we have a down year, we can always go to the NIT. May the best team win.” — Becky Grass, Pleasant Grove
“I don’t have any predictions, and I probably won’t watch it. I like basketball, and I think it’s one of the greatest sporting events, but I just don’t have any interest in it this year. I guess preferences? Spending more time with my family, but, I do like basketball.” — Graden Ostler, Vineyard
“It’s not for me, but most of my friends are really passionate about it, and they do watch it. I mean, I think I should definitely get more into it because I’m a big fan of basketball, and I watch all the Utah Jazz games and everything, and sometimes I hear that it’s even more exciting. … I think it’s really interesting how they go there and show all of their potential to become the very best and win the tournament. … I haven’t really thought about it, but with this, I definitely will now.” — Fernando Bracho, Orem
“I’ll probably watch some of the games. I don’t follow them enough to really have any predictions, but I used to live in North Carolina so I like UNC, so it would be nice to see them go far. Maybe Duke, but it’s hard to say. They’re a pretty good team. They have good leadership, they’ve won a lot of games. They usually do pretty well.” — Andrea Gonzalez, Orem
“I’m going to be watching a lot of the games, mostly the ones from Utah. We’ll be pulling for UVU. Don’t know how far they’ll get, but they’re looking pretty good this year. I don’t think they’ll go all the way, I’d like to see them win at least two games — maybe three in the tournament, but I don’t know if they’ll go much beyond that. I’d have to go with Gonzaga, they’re pretty good. Just, they’re good year after year, and they’ve always been a thorn in BYU’s side. If BYU can’t make it then someone else from the West Coast Conference would be good.” — Reed Farnsworth, Orem
