“Getting pretty tired of it. It’s just been a lot of snow, a lot of cold and I’m ready for some warm weather. If I could jump 20 feet high, I’d do it in celebration of spring arriving. Well, I like winter because I am a skier, so skiing is really fun. I haven’t had an opportunity to ski this winter, and that might be one of the reasons why it hasn’t been as fun as it could have been, but generally speaking, Utah only has two seasons: winter and summer. … I’m looking forward to spring/summer a little bit more this year.” — Sam Primavera, Orem

“So, I usually am a fan of cold weather, but I’m not really enjoying this snow. It’s just dangerous for driving and things. I have to commute to school, and so it makes it a little bit harder. Especially because I have early morning classes, and the roads aren’t always cleared by then. I personally really like Spring. I really like seeing the cherry blossoms up the capitol, and it’s just nice seeing, like, flowers blossoming and things, it’s just more of a happier time and the days are longer.” — Kiese Mpongo, Provo

“I’m looking forward to Spring, just ready for the summertime, honestly. Getting ready to complain about how hot it is instead of how cold it is. I like winter, it’s just off and on with the weather. I like both hot and cold. You know, Utah is in a drought, so that helps. I think it would be more beneficial–all the snow melting, and all the water going into the rivers. That, and I feel like there will be a lot less accidents with the snow.” — Luis Saavedra, Orem

“I’m looking forward to Spring because I don’t like the cold. But, I like the fact that we are getting water. … I’m going to finish flipping my park strip to a water-wise thing, so I need the warmer weather so I can do that and just get out hiking.” — Chris Bennett, Orem

“Probably, I’d say, Spring. Even though ‘Utah Spring’ is basically just, like, a terrible mix of some days are winter, some days are summer, but probably Spring because it’s going to get warmer, and get rid of the snow. … At the end of the day, even though, like, it’s not the most enjoyable thing, I know it’s good because we need it.” — London Richards, Orem
