A drug investigation in Vineyard led to the seizure of several illegal substances and firearms and the arrest of two people, the Utah County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.

Deputies served a search warrant at a residence near 600 North and 130 East in Vineyard on Feb. 3 and found “a substantial amount” of marijuana, THC cartridges, THC dab wax, THC edibles, psilocybin mushrooms, amphetamine pills and seven firearms, a press release said. THC is the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana.

Two people — whose names were not released — were booked in the Utah County Jail on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute drugs and firearms, while another person in the home was released on a citation related to possessing drug paraphernalia.

The sheriff’s office reported the seizure of 2.96 pounds of marijuana, 2.02 pounds of THC dab wax, 325 individual cartridges of THC, 39.6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and a package of THC edibles.

Four handguns, three long guns, $1,054 in cash and 4.5 amphetamine pills also reportedly were seized.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
