Orem City Council working toward resolution on short-term rentals
Orem conducted a discussion in its City Council work session Tuesday on how the city should move forward regulating short-term rentals. Despite short-term rentals, or STRs, being currently prohibited in Orem under city code, a number of transient lodging options are available in the city through entities such as Airbnb or VRBO.
