Community rallies in support of Lehi teen hit and severely injured near rodeo grounds
The past several days have not been easy for the family of a Lehi teen who was struck by a car after leaving a church dance late Friday night. Lehi police said as people were leaving the event, the 14-year-old girl was crossing the street when she was reportedly hit by a vehicle traveling south on 500 West near the Lehi Rodeo Grounds, where the dance was taking place. Officials did not name the teen, but her family has identified her as Jenna Sharp of Lehi. The incident left Sharp with a serious brain injury.
