Early primary election results provides view of advancing school board candidates for emerging districts
Polls closed Tuesday night for municipal primaries across the valley, with multiple Utah County cities holding elections. Candidates who make it through the primaries will compete for open mayoral, city council and three emerging school district seats in the upcoming November general election. As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, out of the 322,090 registered voters more than 48,740 ballots had been cast, yielding a 15% voter turnout thus far.
