Provo City School District approves adjusted tax rate to increase teacher salaries
The Provo City School District Board of Education during its truth-in-taxation meeting approved a property tax increase for owners within the district's boundary. The district says the hike is needed to fund salary increases for teachers in efforts to stay competitive and counter educators being lured away by other school districts.
